This is an original R4/ R5/ R6 front sight. The South African ones were noticeably thinner than the ones found on Israeli Galil rifles. The purpose behind this was to increase the sight of the target and reduce the thickness of the front sight.
 
Will fit any Galil/ Golani/ Galeo rifle.
 
This R-rifle series part was manufactured in South Africa in the late 80ies, early 90ies before LEW/ Denel stopped the production of the R-series rifles and parts. During the storage and transport, the part might have been scratched slightly. We ensure that the part is cosmetically in the best shape possible.
